Purchase Ledger Administrator

Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a family run, award winning business.
Joining the business to be part of a dynamic and inspirational Finance team, an exciting opportunity, having the independence to work alone in a fast paced environment.
This would be the perfect role for a Purchase Ledger Administrator with at least 6 month’s experience and knowledge of Sage 200.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure monthly journals are correctly prepared and posted for inter-company transfers
- Ensure the nominal ledger cashbook and bank statement reconciles at the end of every month
- Ensure the purchase ledger is kept up to date, that payments are made to suppliers in accordance with agreed credit terms
- Assisting in document coding and data input for sales purchase and nominal ledger routines
- Managing all month-end reports for all ledgers are carried out correctly
- Ensure Petty Cash balances are maintained and reconciled to bank accounts
- Ensuring all document distribution and filing is kept up to date
- Ensure all capital expenditure is properly maintained and that capital invoices are correctly allocated
- Ensure the Company Overhead expenditure monitoring system in kept up to date
We are looking for a bubbly individual who can work effectively as part of a team and who can manage high volumes of work with the initiative to juggle many tasks at any one time. You will be able to keep a cool head and not cracking under pressure!
Due to the office location, your own transport will be required.
Skills & Experience
· Previous experience of working within a finance or accounts department
· Previous SAGE 2000 experience
· Attention to detail and highly organised
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work as part of a team and independently
· Flexible to support across other business areas
· Staying calm working within pressurised environment
