Website Content Assistant
Swindon
£16,000 - £18,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a Website Content Assistant for a growing business based in central Swindon.
My client has experienced phenomenal growth in a very short space of time! Due to growth and the successful establishment of the Marketing function they are now looking to strengthen their team with a Website Content Assistant, to take full management and responsibility of a number of websites! You will ensure all online content is accurate and correctly published; improving website performance and revenue.
Role Responsibilities
· Maintaining product codes and updating product pricing
· Check all imagery at category and product option level
· Setting up new products
· Update supplier product specifications and images
· Research and source images and videos from suppliers and online to help in explaining products to customers
· Writing engaging and informative product copy for product pages
· To ensure all content and products are optimised – researching new key words
· Writing and planning content to be used in email campaigns, as directed by the Marketing Manager
· Assist with production and execution of social media activity and content
· Development of branded social media accounts
· Create unique blogging content including, case history opportunities, project pages, inspiration pieces
· Assist with recommending improvements to website layout, website strategy, development, promotion, visual impact, the customer journey
· To provide support to the team when necessary in answering customer enquiries and order taking
Key Skills & Experience
· Excellent IT literacy - experience in using software packages including Word and Excel
· Experience in interpreting numerical data, specifically website analytics, awareness of Google Analytics would be useful
· Experience with social media management software, i.e. Hootsuite or similar
· An interest in digital marketing with an awareness of new ecommerce industry developments
· Strong attention to detail, spelling, grammar and accuracy
· Strong copywriting skills
· Good communicator - both written and verbal
· Reliable, good organisational skills
