E-Commerce Content Assistant
Swindon
£18,000-£20,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Assistant to join an established a highly regarded organisation based in Swindon.
Joining a busy team, you will play an integral role in the management of the online content and product merchandising, supporting the daily operational function of the E-Commerce team.
With experience of working in retail or an online shop, you will have superb copywriting skills and be confident in the use of software packages including excel. You will have an eye for detail and be a confident communicator with a ‘can do approach. You will be comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload and be able liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working closely with buying, merchandising and marketing teams to ensure that online content is accurate and up-to date; uploading new products and publish content changes
• To liaise with 3rd party suppliers to obtain product images, details and specifications
• To carry out online product merchandising
• To support the E-Commerce team to ensure the site it is fully functioning
• To work with the E-Commerce Manager to ensure timely launch and promotion of new categories/themes for sale
• To provide support to the warehouse with any enquiries and to ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner
• To provide administrative support to the E-Commerce Manager
• To assist where require with digital marketing and social media teams

Skills & Experience
• Experience of working in retail or an online shop
• Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
• Evidence of working with Excel Spread Sheet data and basic formulas
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Computer literate with knowledge of: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively within Retail
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and contacts.
• Self-starter who can work on own initiative
• Enthusiastic “Can do “attitude
Whilst experience of Photoshop and Content Management Systems would be desirable, they are not essential as full training can be provided; what is important is your desire to achieve results and contribute to the growing success of the online shop.
