Corporate Account Manager

A senior position for an established business within the corporate product/retail trading sector.  This role will lead all Corporate/B2B sales with responsibility to source and win new clients across multiple industries.
You will also be required to manage existing business of UK and International clients and develop and grow these to their full potential.

There will also be responsibility to manage an internal Corporate Account Executive who has their own separate accounts, however you will oversee all these accounts and set targets.
 
This is full client management role from hunting, closing through to full account management.

The ideal person will have proven experience and strong track record a of business development, new business, client management, account management with B2B/corporate customers.

This role requires someone who also understands online trends and eCommerce increasingly being applied to traditional offline sales.

Role is office based and consists of approximately £2m account base to manage with approx. £400k new business to generate in addition. 

It is expected that most of your sales, development and account management time will be done in the office with you seeing new and existing clients out of the office, one or two times a month.
 
 
Skills and experience required:
 
Commercially minded, with experience in either ecommerce, retail, B2B, Corporate or wholesale.
Previous management experience of one or more senior reports
Clear understanding of the difference between B2B, B2C & Corporate channels
Able to work on own and produce outstanding results without constant support and guidance
Proven track record of delivering results from a structured sales process
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
Flexible approach to delivering assigned tasks
Experience to a high level using Microsoft Office Package
