You will contribute towards the ambitious growth of the business, joining this fast paced team, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing our database marketing programme and sharing insights across the business. You will help drive the strategic direction of the digital and direct business as it continues to play a key role in the 5 year plan. This data marketing specialist will plan and deliver the data strategy for CRM activity that improves both the loyalty of existing customers and continues to reach new prospects and customers.
The Person
Educated to degree level, or further qualification desired.
An exceptional understanding of CRM and data strategy and how we can drive brand engagement and loyalty using digital channels.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in data management, analytics and strategy
Experience of managing external data agencies.
Experience working closely with and partnering with cross functional teams especially Sales, Customer Service, Consumer Research, and other marketing related functions.
Strong initiative: strong bias for action - wants and takes accountability.
Solid strategic thinker with good analytical skills – able to separate the big picture from the detail. Strong attention to detail.
Driven by a desire to win and for continuous improvement.
Strong influencing skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Numerate, with the ability to analyse data and prove project ROI.
Proven ability to work cross functionally – strong team player.
The Role
The Assistant Database Marketing Manager is responsible for defining and delivering the data strategy across the wider business. In addition, and in collaboration with the CRM Marketing Manager, the Assistant Database Marketing Manager is also responsible for setting out the data marketing targeting and segmentation strategy to ensure ROI is optimised for CRM communications. Key responsibilities for the Assistant Database Marketing Manager are broadly split into the following areas;
Define and execute the CRM data strategy for Dyson Direct.
Manage and grow the Dyson marketing database
Understand and report on Dyson Direct activity
Pricing and promotion execution
