Buying Assistant- Retail Head Office
Swindon
£18,000-£21,000 DOE
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for a Buying Assistant to join a busy retail head office Buying Department.
The Position:
Supporting a number of buyers, you will be point of contact for suppliers and for integral internal departments, making product selections that will impact decisions across all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the buyer/buyers to deliver the strategic and financial plans, from a forecasting and performance perspective
• Supporting the Buying function with administration responsibilities
• Monitoring and reviewing category data to deliver promotional propositions targeted at the customer
• Monitor and review range sales data to support the requirements of the team. Uses this data to make recommendations around sales and margin performance.
• Effective in supplier negotiations to maximise promotional opportunities
• Understanding market and consumer trends by monitoring competitor activity
Skills & Experience:
Ideally you will have previous buying experience or have worked within a retail head office.
