Rocking Zebra recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join this growing well known business based in Swindon.
A well-established successful and growing business that offer an interesting, developing and passionate place to work. Responsible for an established and successful team, we are looking for a Sales Manager who will assist in delivering increased efficiency, flexibility and focus through managing the BDE Team based in Swindon.
The three key objectives of this team are:
To identify and secure new business
To identify qualified customer opportunities, using a wide range of techniques including social networks, web searches and evaluation of contact lists, and then secure appointments for the Regional Customer Managers with potential new customers;
To build on current business levels within existing accounts.
Experience and personal qualities
Proven experience of managing a “telesales” team, working outside the usual scripted call model, where understanding clients business needs and matching solutions are critical to success.
Leading and managing teams of 8+ staff.
Meeting targets and fulfilling agreements even when adverse circumstances prevail.
Checking progress against targets, reporting as necessary and taking action to resolve exceptions.
Proven excellent judgement and decision making ability.
Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Keeping commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions.
Understanding the needs of the internal or external customer and keeping them in mind when taking actions or making decisions.
Influencing and persuading others to take a specific course of action when there is no direct line of command or control.
Establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Proven excellent judgement and decision making ability.
Well developed interpersonal skills to succeed leading a team in a high pressure environment
