Web Content Project Manager
Swindon
Upto 30k DOE FTC until December 2017
Rocking Zebra Recruitment is looking for an experienced Web Content Project Manager to join a leading and established brand on a fixed term contract.
Working within the Project Delivery team, you will work with the Product Owner to plan and implement the migration of content between the old and new content management systems. You will be providing day-to-day supervision and training of content editors and taking responsibility for meeting project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Working in line with priorities responsible for design and implementation of the content migration plan, ensuring project deadlines are met
· Work with the CMS project team to identify and migrate appropriate content onto the new CMS
· Provide day to day supervision of content editors to ensure that content is migrated in a logical and timely manner
· Provide weekly reports on the migration plan and progress
· Liaise with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure that content is appropriately structured and tagged in line with SEO best practice
· Liaise with the Content Marketing Manager to ensure all necessary information architecture is in place and internal tagging meets business requirements
· Review and quality control migrated content ensuring all migrated pages are checked and visually meet agreed standards
· Act as quality assurance to ensure that all content migrated meets the guidelines on brand
· Develop and deliver training for editors on the new CMS. Provide on-going support for project and business editors during and immediately after the migration
Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience of working on a CMS migration
• Proven experience of writing dedicated copy for the web
• Proven experience of using and designing content in a CMS for a large content rich website
• Experience in website development, digital project management and online copywriting.
• Proven experience of line management and leading individuals to deliver to tight timescales
• Confident communicator in delivering CMS training to a range of abilities across a team
• Excellent written skills with strong attention to detail and experience of content editing and proof reading
• Ability to liaise with internal and external user and suppliers
• Delivery focussed with a pro-active and ‘can-do’ attitude to get the job done.
• A great team player, able to form effective working relationships at all levels
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Able to use own initiative
